::: FEAR...:::

Image
I looked up and saw the height before me. Hot air raved all over my body sending shivers up and down my spine. Wild goose pimples took control of me; I could feel blood rushing out of my heart into my head. And the signal was there, it wield not only my physical movement but also my cognitive capacity. All I could hear were the echoes of my heartbeat which sent out warning signals. "Come on you can’t make it, just take a seat, get yourself a cold drink and wait for the others to join you when they are done".

:::Nobody is getting it all right!!!:::

“ Having a low opinion of yourself is not "modesty". It's self-destruction. Holding your uniqueness in high regard is not "egotism". It's a necessary precondition to happiness and success”.  ~ Bobbe Sommer Into every generation, different kinds of women are born. Some with greater strengths, some more intelligent, some smarter, others too sensitive, others gentle. Whether shy, soft spoken, loud or assertive, fast or slow, organized or disorganized, in our own little way, We Are Super Women. Every woman, in my opinion, whether tall or short, pretty, fat or thin, rich or poor, is unique in her own way; she just has not figured that out yet. Trying to live the life of another woman will only get you confused and depressed. We were all made differently and have different paths to follow.  We come across lots of people in our daily lives; through social Medias, behind our screens, by coincidence etc. and admire them. Of course it’s OK and but...

::: The Great Fall :::

Image
We are in the middle of summer; and this week, I was expecting a lot of sunshine or better said good weather, but that was not the case. It was wet, grey, cold and slippery. Apropos slippery….here I was, in the middle of Basel, Messeplatz to be precise, a very beautiful scenario and arena for the eyes to behold. At Messeplatz you will find interesting cafés and also skyscrapers, one of these is the Basel world palace, a beautiful complex, a perfect host for the watch Trade-fair, where classical, luxury and latest watches from innovative watchmakers of our time are being hosted once in a year. That particular spot is a busy spot with or without the Trade-fare, and that was where I had my “Great fall”.

:::Saying no to responsibilities at work……for real or just theory

Image
After having a long tiring day yesterday, I got back home, got into my Kitchen to make some food for my family and as my usual routine, I put on my little Kitchen radio with the intention of getting a station where I could listen to music. But when it came on, I realized I couldn’t switch to another radio station because what was being discussed there pulled my attention ……. Lassen Sie sich nicht mehr ausbeuten; sagen sie nien.  (Do not let anyone exploit you, say no!)

  Just imagine for a second you could make all your dreams come true, achieve anything you want and succeed in all your undertakings.  At first thought you´ll be like wow, this could be great…but after a deeper one you´ll come to realize how boring it can be.  It takes everything that happens in life to tango.

::: Women In Politics :::

Image
Watching Gunter Jauch today, I really got carried away. The guests were powerful female faces that have brought about innovative changes and a lot of discussions in the world of politics today. My last post was on “Violence against women”, I personally think it portrayed the women as being weak and vulnerable. So watching the show today, I thought of inspiring you my young ladies. As guest speakers, we had Hillary Clinton American sectary of state,

::: We are all passing by :::

Image
I sat on the train and tried hard to focus on the motive of my next move. I had none…I decided to spare myself the trouble of thinking too hard and just follow my instinct for once, cos this felt different. As I sat there, passengers came in, some sat beside me, others opposite me.  Some with smile on their faces, others with “I just don’t give a F***” stare.  With some a word or more was exchanged.  With others I turned my face towards the window, a way to say;  “Don’t disturb I got some thinking to do”. Then it came to me like a gentle wind…the thought about the in and out movement of people in our lives.  I think it’s like taking a journey on a train. There are people who choose to take the journey with us, some come uncalled for, and others are inevitable.  Each with a different energy of its own geared at molding the person we are all destined to become. There are co-passengers of this train of “life”. There are good ones,...

:::Stop the violence against women:::

Women in Focus! Dear sisters this is for us! “The best judge of whether or not a country is going to develop is how it treats its women. If it's educating its girls, if women have equal rights, that country is going to move forward. But if women are oppressed and abused and illiterate, then they're going to fall behind.” Barack Obama, 2008
