::: It's Voting Time...:::

A wonderful day to you all lovely people out there!
It’s voting time in Freiburg! The municipal council election is fast approaching. So people get registered... and please go and vote!
Yeah we are talking politics today.
We have a date.
25th of May!
From the 25th of April you can register to vote online. Will bring you more infos!

Freiburg has appointed about 591 able men and women to represent our values and culture at the municipal council. Now one of the duties of the municipal council, is to give an open ear to your needs. So people, this is not only an opportunity for you to participate in making our lovely Freiburg a more tolerable city but also to build a sustainable future for our trilingual and multicultural kids.
There are 13 political parties going in for the municipal council election. I will try as much as I can to present a few candidates to you, based on my personal interaction with them and my knowledge of them.
From the BÜNDNIS 90/ Die Grünen, we have our very own Philippe Djahi. He is 50 years of age and his main goals, considering his immigration background, is not only to integrate immigrants in the activities of our beloved Freiburg but also to help solve the housing problem in Freiburg.

From CDU, we have Dr. Sylvie Nantcha. She has actually been very active in the political scene for some time now. She wears many different hats. And at the end of the day she represents that energetic powerful woman, mother and wife, with the desire to make our living space a better one.

From SPD, we have Mahmadou Bah.

 Linke Liste, there is Bulut Ergün. A personal friend and a wonderful dad.
On a serious note, his goals really make sense to me. He wants a better Freiburg for students, kids and also refugees. Those who know him personally like I do, know that what he says are not only empty words, but words from a big heart and an active soul.
To be continued...
Ps: I really appreciate your comments!
Love you all.
