::: Cameroon - West Cameroon means business :::

Schools resume nationwide today in Cameroon.
While the streets of Yaoundé and Douala are filled with bubbling Children hurrying to school in their colorful uniforms; the streets in Bamenda, Buea and Kumba are thinly represented or moreover empty.
 Empty classrooms in Bamenda.

 Kids goingback home
 Empty roads bikes parked.

 Empty markets and blocked roads.

The western region of Cameroon is practically a ghost town. Schools, private business as well as public offices have been shut down. To make matters worse, taxis and bike riders have refuse to offer their services too.
The consortium (joint representatives of teachers and Common Law lawyers) has called on the Government to see to the grievances of the people, but Yaoundé seems to be more or less concerned about the core of the problem at hand. Complaints from the lawyers and teachers of west Cameroon seems to fall on deaf ears.

So the people wait... suspense!
